A significant number of last year’s graduates have joined top companies like TSMC, and the university's graduates have also been accepted into prestigious institutions such as Harvard and MIT. To attract outstanding students, Tunghai University is offering scholarships totaling over NT$100 million and has significantly increased internship and employment opportunities.
Tunghai University has won first place among private universities in Southern Taiwan for two consecutive years in the “2024 Corporate Favorite University Survey,” conducted by 1111 Job Bank and TUN University Network. This recognition highlights the university’s commitment to liberal arts education, which emphasizes autonomous learning and diverse development, and has earned the approval of the business community. According to 1111 Job Bank, the 2024 survey targeted corporate leaders, managers, and HR professionals who have the authority to select and hire talent, aiming to provide an overview of the job market. The survey categories included “Overall Performance Ranking,” “Public and Private University Ranking,” “Public and Private Technological University Ranking,” and “18 Academic Field Ranking.”
Tunghai University has also excelled in international rankings, securing the top spot among Taiwanese private universities (excluding medical schools) in the 2023 Times Higher Education Impact Rankings for four consecutive years. In the 2024 Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject, Tunghai University achieved remarkable success in the field of physical sciences, ranking between 601-800 globally, and placing fourth in Taiwan alongside National Cheng Kung University and National Sun Yat-sen University, just behind National Taiwan University, National Tsing Hua University, and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. Tunghai University President, Dr. Kuo-En Chang, stated that this achievement reflects the university's long-term efforts to break down departmental barriers, enhance interdisciplinary learning, foster innovative thinking, and implement administrative reforms. Graduates have performed exceptionally well in the corporate world, gaining recognition and appreciation from domestic enterprises.

Tunghai University has also excelled in international rankings, securing the top spot among Taiwanese private universities (excluding medical schools) in the 2023 Times Higher Education Impact Rankings for four consecutive years.
In addition to strong academic and corporate performance, graduates from various departments at Tunghai University have also achieved outstanding results. For example, the Department of Architecture, which emphasizes both professional and humanistic education, had 10 graduates admitted to prestigious institutions such as Harvard, Columbia University, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of London in 2023. The College of Management also had over 10 students accepted into top business schools, including the University of London and George Washington University. To attract and nurture top talent, Tunghai University announced that it will provide scholarships totaling NT$111 million this academic year, with various departments offering substantial entrance scholarships. For instance, the Department of International Business offers scholarships of up to NT$200,000 per student, and the College of Science is actively recruiting and offering incentives to attract talented students.
