The 2022 Outstanding Alumni Winners were announced on September 21 after receiving recommendation and selection by the selection committee. The winners are (Tang Tang, Dept. of Biology), (Hsin-Hung Wu, Dept. of Chemical Engineering), (Chih-Hsiang Li, Dept. of Architecture Engineering), (Keh-Fei Liu, Dept. of Physics), (Kung Wang, Dept. of Chemistry), (Charles Chiang, Dept. of Politics), (Jiang-Shiou Hwang, Dept. of Biology), (Chiung-Ying Yang, Dept. of Social Science), (Chao-Tung Yang, Dept. of Information Science), and (Ching-Hua Wang, EMBA 2015).
The Outstanding Alumni Selection is organized by the Public Relations Office, with President Guo-En Chang as the committee chair. There were 19 recommendations in total, including 1 academician of Academia Sinica, 7 outstanding scholars at home and abroad, 5 entrepreneurs, 2 public severs, 1 artist, 1 in social service, and 2 in other categories. The selection process was a difficult challenge for all the selection committee members before they made the final voting and selected the 10 winners.
The 2022 Outstanding Alumni Commendation Ceremony will be held on November 2, 2022 at Luce Chapel as part of the university anniversary celebration. We look forward to meeting more Tunghai alumni from all over the world.
