The Floral Dance Gala makes a grand return to welcome new students! Tunghai University's EMBA program hosted a European-style outdoor banquet to welcome new members and invited numerous prominent business leaders to participate. During this event, the Tunghai EMBA Alumni Association saw a change in leadership, with the baton passed to Chen Sung-Ping, General Manager of Hoa kang Fire Protection.

Recently, Tunghai University’s EMBA program held the "Floral Dance Gala Art Exhibition and Music: New Student Welcome and Alumni Association President Handover" event by Tunghai Lake. In a departure from the usual indoor restaurant gatherings, the event featured an elegant European-style outdoor setting, fostering closer friendships among students. This year, Tunghai's EMBA has secured some heavyweight lecturers, including Chairman Simon Huang of WPG Holdings, Chairman Chu Chih-Yaung of Fair Friend Group, and Chairman Shen Shang-Hung of Taya Group. They are set to begin teaching as early as the next semester, sharing their expertise in management and operations. Dean of the School of Management, Li Shu-Hsing, noted that Tunghai's EMBA program is highly regarded and the invitation of these renowned business leaders to teach underscores the recognition and respect the program has garnered.

 

Tunghai's EMBA has secured heavyweight lecturers including Chairman Simon Huang of WPG Holdings, Chairman Chu Chih-Yaung of Fair Friend Group, and Chairman Shen Shang-Hung of Taya Group, who will begin teaching as early as the next semester.

 

President Chang Kuo-En of Tunghai University stated that over its 68-year history, the university has established close ties with the business community. The willingness of these board chairmen from publicly listed companies to teach at Tunghai's EMBA is the greatest acknowledgment of the university. President Chang added that this EMBA event not only strengthens alumni bonds but also further connects Tunghai with the corporate world. Moreover, it provides a platform for alumni to share insights and ideas, enhancing emotional connections and fostering cooperative development among alumni, leading to a win-win situation for all.

EMBA Director Hsu En-Te said that Tunghai's EMBA boasts an illustrious faculty worth billions in experience, providing invaluable insights for future business heirs and CEOs on succession planning. Hsu further elaborated that industry-academia collaboration is becoming a trend, with academia inviting industry experts to teach. Tunghai's EMBA has designed forward-thinking courses, with the inaugural batch of guest professors being top-tier selections, enabling the EMBA program to focus more on the exchange and transfer of knowledge, technology, and ideas, positioning it to become a leading management program in Taiwan.

 

Newly appointed President of the Tunghai University EMBA Alumni Association, Chen Sung-Ping, noted that as a graduate of Tunghai's Business Administration department, he is honored to take on the role of EMBA President. He aims to continue building bridges of communication between EMBA students and the university, fostering stronger links between industry and the school. Chen emphasized that as the new president, he will strive to establish an open, transparent, and effective communication mechanism to ensure that EMBA students' voices are heard and valued. He also plans to unite the EMBA community to support Tunghai University's sustainable development.
